This Blog is kind of an extension to my Youtube Page, and they pretty much go hand-in-hand. Here I post about what video game playthroughs I am currently doing and which ones I'm thinking about doing in the future, my thoughts on games I've played and gaming news, and maybe just what's been up with me lately.
Hey everyone, I'm Gamree the Green Mage, but most people just call me Gamree. Decided to start up a blog to go hand-in-hand with my Youtube channel, posting updates on what videos I upload to my channel, what I think about latest gaming news that catches my eye, and just putting up posts on what's going on with me as of late.
Since when did I become a repairman? Are you a repairman, Daniel? You're not? Seeing how much you've taken and broken so far, I didn't think so. Figures. So... you a mechanic?
A bit of a short episode here, but I thought that the end of the video was the best place to end it before we get on to the next area of the game.
It's funny because I don't even eat breakfast... Laugh, damn you!
So, I expect a large portion of my life to be sucked straight from out
of my body and into this game once it comes out. As I've mentioned
before, I don't plan on doing an LP or "playthrough" of Skyrim any time
soon, since the game will be too large and massive for me to do a proper
one of it straight off the bat. But since I'm going to be playing the
game like crazy anyway, might as well let you guys join in on the
adventure through the magic of live internet streaming. Together, we'll
take Skyrim by storm!... or get eaten alive trying to do it... Here's
some noteworthy facts to keep in mind:
- I've pre-ordered the
game and expect to have it on the day Skyrim is released: 11/11/11, and I
plan on beginning the stream shortly after receiving/installing it, if
not sometime before. However, this is not a definite: there are several
things that could happen that prevent me from streaming the game, such
as late arrival, no arrival, Stream site goes down,
Bethesda/Amazon/Shipping Company screws something up, Skyrim doesn't
play well with streaming (open-world Bethesda games are well-known for
having several bugs on release), etc.
- As it has been a while
since I last streamed, I will have one or two test streams before
Skyrim's release date, in which I plan to at least get used to my old
settings again as well as try and test stream Oblivion... ya know, for
practice... Specific dates haven't been decided yet, but right now, I'm
looking at either Nov. 2, 4, and/or 9.
- The stream will most
likely be held on my Livestream account, since it's the only one I could
get PC gaming to stream on decently, but might try something with
UStream during one of the test streams. Both streams can be found
through my blog, and this will later be updated with the definite stream
link once it is decided.
- Knowing my gaming habits, I will be
playing Skyrim a lot... as in, everyday. I plan to try and stream as
much of me playing it as I can, so don't expect to actually catch
everything I do when playing/streaming.
- If I am able to, I will
upload clips from the streams here onto Youtube, in case people miss
some notable moments that are worth screen time.
- Amnesia should
be done or close to being done by the time Skyrim comes around, and if
it isn't, I will still upload Amnesia videos on a regular basis. The
same can't be said for Red Steel, though; there's still quite some ways
to go through that playthrough.
- I'm actually in a situation at
the moment where it's hard to test/judge audio levels, so audio might be
a bit over the place in this video. Just a warning. Come to think of
it, I guess I should have put this up near the top, huh? Oh well, you
probably watched the video already and figured that out. Good job. I
can't hear the audio that well right now, but it sure does look nice
from where I'm sitting...
- More info to come, so check back later. If you have any questions, ask away.

Time has a funny way of repeating itself, doesn't it? Well, one way or another, we have just one last little annoyance to cross of the list and then we're done here... right?

Perhaps it would have been better had that rock slide continued to lock-up the Storage area... because this adventure is going downhill faster than a tram in San Francisco.
